We offer 3 different products that can help in your aquaculture needs. The Snail Barrier is a 12 Volt battery powered underwater electric fence that prevents New Zealand Mud Snails (NZMS) from entering hatchery outflows. It sends a pulse every 3 seconds to two underwater electrodes that prevent the NZMS from crawling upstream. The Fish Guardian product is used to anesthetize fish in a small tub of water that contains two electrodes. The Fish Guardian is operated from 24 Volts or two 12 Volt batteries in series. Electrical pulses are sent more frequently than for NZMS. The Fish Guardian Pro product is really a combination of both the Snail Barrier and Fish Guardian products. When the input voltage is less than 20 Volts the controller goes into Snail Barrier mode. When the voltage is higher than 20 Volts the controller switches into the Fish Guardian or anesthesia mode.
